we have an institutional license, which is still valid but we're having problems to run the text editor. the program simply gives the following error 'cube must be installed and licensed for this application to run.'

Hi Ozge,
This is a known issue with Cube 6 at the moment. We are aware of the issue and working on it, and it should be fixed in the next update.
As a temporary workaround, you should still be able to open the script and .prn files using an external text editor like Notepad++, Textpad, or Wordpad. Just uncheck 'Use Cube' for Default Input File Editor and point it to the path of the external text editor. Once that is done, the script files should open fine by default with the indicated text editor.
